The Bronco Guide is a yearly magazine published by The Poly Post, a student-run newspaper for Cal Poly Pomona. This is used as a guide to current and incoming students to learn more about on-campus and off-campus features. This magazine was published by a team of graphic designers, editor-in-chief, writers, and the marketing team. This magazine includes guides, resources, events, and more.
Design Guide
The lead graphic designer made a design guide to guarantee a cohesive magazine. The graphic designers used this guide as a base for all the magazine layouts before developing the layouts to capture the reader's attention.
The color palette was separated into certain sections to allow the reader to connect the categories of articles at a glance. The graphic design team was allowed to play with the hues and tints of all the colors except for the colors for Cal Poly Pomona.
